An Influencer Campaign By STORYBOOK

CHALLENGE

Visa has launched the possibility to use the credit card on your smartphone with the (for instance) Apple Pay function.

 

Every store that accepts contactless payment accepts mobile payment as well.

 

The purpose of this campaign was to build awareness about the convenience, acceptance and security of Visa mobile payments.

STRATEGY

As the target group is extensive, the strategy of this campaign was to get a broad reach within the segment that would adapt to use new technology features quickly.

 

Furthermore, it was essential to engage the users to make them understand the benefits of the new feature.

 

As a result, we made short videos that illustrate the easy usage in everyday situations from front figures they trust – influencers.

 

We used the influencers’ Instagram and Snapchat channels to distribute the content to obtain as broad a reach as possible

SOLUTION

We conducted short videos, to show our influencer paying for everyday items with his/her phone.

 

They also educated their followers on the benefits in terms of convenience and security of paying with Visa on your mobile phone.

 

All influencers were given a brief on the fundamental values to be in line with the Visa brand. 

 

The influencers were encouraged to take their ideas to the videos, to make sure that the content would fit their followers and general content.

 

It resulted in very different takes on the videos.
